Introducing Mapier

What Mapier is

Apple publishes no iMessage API. Every business that has wanted a blue-bubble presence has had to run a Mac, sign it into an Apple account, script the Messages app — and then keep that machine alive. Mapier does that part. We operate a fleet of Macs signed into real Apple accounts, one account for every line, and put a control plane in front of them: scoped keys, live and test environments, idempotent commands, an evidence-based status on every message, and an append-only audit log.

Your application talks to that control plane through one unified API — commands in, events out — and never to a Mac. There is no SDK to adopt and nothing to host.

What works today

On iMessage: text to a new address or into an existing conversation, the six classic tapbacks and emoji reactions, group chats you can create, rename and add participants to, your business's contact card, inbound attachments, and a reachability check that says whether an address can receive iMessage before you send.

Around it: a sandbox with a simulated phone that a test key reaches and a live key cannot, signed webhooks that retry and can be replayed, and an event stream that resumes from wherever you left off.

What is next

On the API: threaded replies, outbound attachments and voice notes, typing indicators, polls, rich links, send effects, and delivery and read receipts as events.

On channels: RCS, SMS, WhatsApp, Voice, Telegram, Signal, Apple Messages for Business and Email, each behind the same commands and events, so nothing built against iMessage has to change.
